Welcome to Alcotraz, one of the best hen do nights out that Manchester has to offer. It’s so much more than a cocktail bar. Plan, plot and scheme your way to the top of the prison system, all while sipping on delicious, bespoke cocktails made from liquor you’ve smuggled in yourself. Get ready for a night behind bars and let the highly trained actors and mixologists of Alcotraz entertain you with a downright hilarious and immersive experience.
Once you’re inside, you and your party will be whisked away into an exciting world of mischief, as you are instructed by a notorious bootlegging gang on the inside to smuggle-in liquor that gets used to make delicious cocktails for you and your pals. But don’t worry, the guards are crooked and are just as invested in getting your booze inside as you are.
The only person standing in your way is the Warden, who is sniffing around the prison ready to catch anyone breaking rules on contraband. Keep your smuggled liquor away from his watchful eyes; just make sure you don’t get sent to solitary! A unique hen party event guaranteed to entertain until the end of your sentence and then some.
Special Add-On
Make the experience extra memorable by assigning the hen the character of the Janitor and watch them play out an integral part of the immersive storyline. Whilst it may appear this individual draws the short straw, it may just be they have the key to help all the inmates escape once and for all.

FAQs
For processing and conviction, we recommend that you wear light clothing as you will be required to wear a standard-issue Alcotraz orange jumpsuit (provided) for the duration of your stay.
At checkout, you can add characters onto your booking, giving certain individuals an even more special experience. Why not transform the hen into the janitor for the evening?
Your experience will last 1 hour 45 minutes, and inmates will be provided with their own orange jumpsuit for the duration of their time behind bars.
Our standard-issue Alcotraz jumpsuits cater to all inmates, with sizes ranging from XS to 4XL. Please note that you are free to wear your jumpsuit as you wish to make it more comfortable, such as tying the arms around your waist.
The inmates you come across behind bars are highly skilled mixologists, and they work best with smuggled spirits. But, if you prefer wine or beer, this can also be served to you… If you can get it past the Warden.
Alcotraz operates a closed bottle policy, meaning we will not accept any bottles previously opened. Please only bring new, unopened and sealed bottles.
Inmates get approximately 4 personalised cocktails delivered by our expert mixologists, using the liquor you smuggle in with you. All liqueurs, bitters, syrups and other ingredients that go into making your cocktails are included in the ticket price, so all you need to bring is the liquor of your choice.
Our Manchester Cell Block is wheelchair accessible, however it is on the first floor. There is a lift available; the wheelchair will need to be left by the lift and the user will require support for a short distance to get to their cell. If you book and are coming with a wheelchair, please get in touch with your booking number!
